"Everything will be all right in the end. If it's not all right, it's not the end."

As much as I hated winter, I loved Winter Wonderland!

Haven't had a dream in a long time.

I know it's been a while, but I need something to write about.
And Tumblr wasn't really doing it for me.

I'm feeling enjoyably creative at the moment.
And I'm feeling very inspired by a bit of the old Morrissey.
So I thought I could write a personal review on some of Morrissey's work and the music he created whilst fronting the legendary Smiths.

Well, where to start?
I guess I should explain my first experience with a bit of Moz.
Me and my good friend James took a holiday with his family one summer to a cabin in Cornwall. It was an awesome holiday and good times where made. Understandably, it was a looooong car journey on the way there. So when me and James got bored of watching "Dude, Where's My Car?" we would either sleep or listen to music. Now at this point in my life, I was musically retarded. Listening to such bands as Bring me the Horizon.. >.>

So James' dad was the driver and the overall DJ of the car stereo. And he just so happened to have Morrissey's greatest hits CD with him so we would listen to that often whilst travelling and driving through Cornwall also.
The second the rock and roll-esque guitar intro to 'First of the Gang to Die' I was captivated by the rhythm of the drums, bass and keyboards that followed. Then Morrissey's original monotone voice came in and from then on, I was hooked. Every song would play after the other and I liked every single track. I was hooked from there on. So I got to now the singles more.

So I kinda left it there for a bit, was starting new term of college and started up with Deeds so I was more musically focused on that. It wasn't until around Christmas time I downloaded my first Smiths album; "The Queen is Dead".
Ofcourse I liked the songs but the one that stood out the most was 'There is a light that never goes out.' It was such a good song, everything was composed and written so well and I fell in love with the lyrics. And I'd recently shown off the sound of Morrissey to Jack. He loved him also. And really really couldn't stop listening to 'There is a light that never goes out'.

From there on, Morrissey and The Smiths was mine and Jack's thing. Like within a group of mates. Morrissey would pop up somewhere and they'd be reminded of us.
So in a way, his music brought me and Jack closer freinds. (No homo lol)
