As much as I hated winter, I loved Winter Wonderland!

Dear blog;

I do believe I'm human again.
For years, I have not been able to cry from the utter bottom of my heart. But that changed this morning.

I decided to watch Toy Story 3. Mainly because I was bored and I felt like watching a film. And even though it was a crappy downloaded copy and the camera went out of focus every now and then, I loved every second of it.

The charm and the nostalgia I remember from the original Toy Story concept all came flooding back to me. It was actually one of the best feelings ever. No spoilers are going to be mentioned, but by the end of the film, I was crying so much. I was practically weeping like an emotional trainwreck. Because I feel ever since I was little, I developed an emotional bond with Toy Story. If I recall, it was the first film I saw in the cinema. Which in it's own way, was practically the foundation of my childhood. My mum often reminds me that I asked her to rewind it so we could watch it again when leaving the cinema.

Toy Story 3 was a pleasant reminder.

  1. I'm going to bawl my eyes out if I watch this you know.

    But I'm looking forward to it so much because everyones told me how good it is.

  2. oh, i'm glad it gets the eddie seal of approval, i've been so worried about it!

    they had a premiere of it at glasto but i plumped for catching music instead since i have a cinema card....

    asking to rewind the cinema, so sweet!!

    my first flick at the cinema was honey i shrunk the kids!!

  3. Haha, it really is so good.
    Pixar knew they had high standards, because the audience of the first film is roughly the same age Andy is in Toy Story 3, (17) and they perfectly re-emulated the connection and the love Andy and the toys shared and everyone could relate because we all never play with our toys as much as we used to when we were kids. I'm looking forward to seeing it again in the cinema in 3D and crying lots again.

    I don't think I remember watching Honey I shrunk the Kids, but I did go on the ride in Disneyland x]
